The U16 Maine Moose hockey won their first game 4-3 over then Carolina Stars at the National tournament in Dallas on Thursday afternoon.
The Moose battled back from a 2-0 deficit. Grady Friedman led the way for the Moose with two goals.
Cole Lockhart and Andrew Bertolini added one goal each. Gage Poulin and Rece Poulin each recorded two assists. Brendan Gasaway was outstanding in net for the Moose.
This morning at 11:15 AM Eastern time the Moose will take on Dallas who is ranked fifth in the nation.
