The Boston Red Sox will play their first road game of the season very short handed. The Red Sox stert a four geme series at Detroit on Friday afternoon. All four games (Friday through Monday) have a 1:10 first pitch scheduled.
Xander Bogaerts will miss through Sunday as he is on bereavement leave. Mookie Betts will miss his second consecutive game because of the flu. The Red Sox are hoping Betts is cleared to play for Saturday’s game. Hanley Ramirez will also miss the game on Friday due to the flu. Check out the lineup below.
