Boston Red Sox lineup- 4/9/17: Mookie returns

The flu ridden Boston Red Sox will get Mookie Betts back for game three of their series at Detroit on Sunday afternoon. 

Betts has missed the previous three games with the flu. Jackie Bradley JR will miss the game due to an injured knee he suffered on Saturday. Steve Selsky will get the start in center field. With lefty Daniel Norris starting for the Tigers, Chris Young will get the start at DH and bat cleanup. 

Hanley Ramirez will miss his third straight game due to the flu. Xander Bogaerts is expected back for the series finale with the Tigers on Monday. Bogaerts is out on bereavement leave. 

Rick Porcello will look for his second strong start of the early season. Matt Barnes returns from bereavement leave to add a boost to the bullpen. Game time is scheduled for 1:10 PM.
