Offense explodes in Red Sox win over Minnesota

Chris Young hit two home runs to help the Boston Red Sox roll to a 11-1 win at Minnesota on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Sox broke the game with eight runs (six unearned) in the second inning. 

Xander Bogaerts, Andrew Benintendi, and Sandy Leon had three hits each.

Rick Porcello pitched seven strong innings to earn the win. Porcello allowed one run on seven hits. He struck out six and didn’t issue a walk.

The series will conclude with a Chris Sale VS Ervin Santana matchup on Sunday afternoon.
