The Thomas College Terriers softball team made school history on Friday when they faced off with Williams College at the Ephs home field in a first round NCAA Division III regional game.
Thomas, competing in their first ever regional, got a first inning RBI double from Sydney Lebourbeau, and another RBI in the fourth from Kayla Bess to take a 2-0 lead over the highly ranked Ephs.
But Williams College used a six run bottom of the fifth to take the 6-2 victory, highlighted by a solo homer by Rebecca Duncan and a two run homer by Jessica Kim.
Thomas drops to 14-22. They will face RPI in an elimination game Saturday at 11 a.m. Williams is 32-10 and will begin the day with a winners bracket game against Staten Island College at 9 a.m.
