Big seventh inning propels Red Sox to win over Rangers

The Boston Red Sox scored seven runs in the seventh inning to earn a 9-4 win over the Texas Rangers at Fenway Park on Wednesday night. 

Chris Sale allowed three earned runs in 7.1 innings to improve his record to 5-2 on the season. Sale’s streak of consecutive games with at least 10 strikeouts ended at eight straight. Sale walked one and struck out six, while allowing six hits. 

Sam Travis had two hits, including his first major league hit. Mookie Betts, Xander Bogaerts, and Mitch Moreland also had two hits each.
