Former University of Maine star Paul Kariya was named to the hockey hall of fame on Monday.
Kariya had 939 points in a 15 year NHL career. He had 402 goals and 587 assists. He recorded 25 goals and 75 assists in a 1992/1993 season for the Black Bears, where they won the national championship and finished 42-1-1.
