Sale dominates as Sox stay hot in Toronto

Chris Sale dominated and the offense pounded out 12 hits as the Boston Red Sox rolled to a 7-1 win at Toronto on Saturday afternoon. 

The Red Sox had seven players who had at least one hit and four players who recorded at least two hits.

Jackie Bradley JR ripped a double that gave the Red Sox a 2-0 lead on the first inning. Dustin Pedroia hit a two run double to give the Sox a 4-0 lead in the second inning.

Sale pitched seven shutout innings, allowing four hits and one walk, while striking out 11. Sale already has 11 games with at least 10 strikeouts this season. 

Hanley Ramirez led the charge with three hits.  Chris Young, Sandy Leon, and Deven Marrero had three hits each. Xander Bogaerts had three RBI. Mookie Betts had three walks and scored three runs. 

The Red Sox have won five of their last six games. They are 46-35 through 81 (halfway through the season) games.
