Jays take series opener at Fenway

Kendrys Morales had three hits and two RBI, while Steve Pearce had two hits, including a solo homer to lead the Toronto Blue Jays to a 4-3 win over the Red Sox at Fenway Park on Monday night. 

Andrew Benintendi had two of the six Red Sox hits. Dustin Pedroia smacked a double in the bottom of the seventh inning that evened the score at three.

Heath Hembree (1-3) gave up the go ahead run in the top of the eighth inning.  Eduardo Rodriguez allowed three runs in 5.1 innings. He gave up six hits and four walks, while striking out eight.
