The Red Sox broke the game open with an eight run fifth inning. In the fourth inning, Rafael Devers started a 5-4-3 double play.
Xander Bogaerts had theee hits, while Eduardo Nunez, Hanley Ramirez, Mitch Moreland, and Devers recorded two hits each.
Rick Porcello (7-14) threw seven strong innings to earn his third straight win. Porcello allowed three runs on eight hits and two walks, while striking out six.
