Pomeranz strong again as Red Sox roll to win over Indians

Drew Pomeranz left his last start with back spasms. Pomeranz came back strong on Wednesday night.

Pomeranz (13-4) pitched 5.1 scoreless innings leading the Red Sox to a 6-1 win over the Indians. He allowed only two hits and four walks, while striking out nine. 

Eduardo Nunez had two hits, including a two run home run. Brock Holt scored two runs. 

The Red Sox acquired Rajai Davis from the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday. Davis is expected to be with the team by Thursday night’s game at Cleveland.
