@ Dover-Foxcroft, Old Town’s Jacob Harrison scored on a direct kick 25 yards out to give the Coyotes an early lead with 14 minutes left to play in the first half. Foxcroft was able to get on the board with 3 minutes to go when Austin Bickmore crossed the ball to Simison Wanimbo , and he beat the goalie to the ball and put it to the right side of the net to make it 1-1 at half.
In the second half the score went back and forth. The Ponies scored 13 minutes in the second half when Sam Harmon-Weeks dribbled deep in the Coyotes defense and just when they collapsed on him he was able to get rid of it by sending the ball just out of the reach of the goalie where Shadane Hamilton put it in the back of the net.
Old Town responded 10 minutes later when Jacob Harrison once again scored on top of the penalty box.
The game seemed to be heading into overtime, until Ponies Jacob Olson broke loose from the left side of the field. He put one move past the last Old Town defender and was one on one with the goalie and he beat him to the near post for a 3-2 Ponies lead. FA put the game away when they scored their last goal when Jacob Olson’s shot hit the top post and Jae Park put the rebound in the back of the net with 52 seconds to play to give FA a 4-2 victory.
FA’s (4-2) goalie, Lucas Ames had 5 saves on 12 shots and Old Town’s (2-3-1) goalie, Tyler McCannell had 12 saves on 26 shots.
