The Husson University football team will travel to Springfield, Massachusetts for a NCAA Division III first round clash with Springfield College. The game will be played Saturday, November 18th.
Husson finished the regular season with a 9-1 record. The Eagles scored at least 35 points in seven of their 10 games. The ECFC champions have to go on the road and take on the 10-0 NEWMAC champs of Springfield. The Pride didn’t get an automatic bid due to their conference having a two year waiting period for the automatic qualifier.
It could be a shootout on Saturday as Springfield has scored 35 plus in nine of their 10 games and 28 plus in all 10 games.
