The Marshwood Hawks rolled to a 63-20 win over Skowhegan in the Maine Principals’ Association class B state championship football game at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland on Saturday evening.
Kyle Glidden had a rushing, receiving, and passing touchdown for the Hawks. Tommy Springer threw for two touchdowns and rushed for one.
Jon Bell had a 99 yard kickoff return for a touchdown for the Indians. Marcus Christopher threw two touchdowns passes to Cam Barnes, including a 94 yarder. Skowhegan finishes the season with a 7-4 record.
It is the 19th state championship for Marshwood (12-0), including their third in the last four years.
