The Boston Celtics took an early 10-9 lead in Atlanta Saturday night, but then trailed by as many as 16 in the first half, before rallying back to take a third quarter lead and holding on to defeat the Atlanta Hawks 110-99 at Phillips Arena.
Kyrie Irving led the way for Boston (15-2) with 30 points, four rebounds, and five assists. Jaylen Brown added 27 points, while Marcus Morris and Jayson Tatum both chipped in 14 points as the Celtics won their 15th consecutive game, outscoring the Hawks 66-49 in the second half.
Dennis Schroder led Atlanta (3-13) with 23 points and nine assists.
Boston will continue their road trip when they head to Dallas to battle the Mavericks Monday night at 8:30 p.m.
