The Dexter Tigers boys basketball team will have a lot of new faces this season. Jacob Bickford is the only returnee that played significant minutes for a team that reached the regional semifinals last season.
“Lots of new faces to the varsity level, only one returning letter winner from last season,”Dexter coach Peter Murray said. “Realistically go 8-9 deep, we had a strong JV team last season, those players will have to step up to the next level.”
Among the key players on the Tigers roster are, Sr. – Jacob Bickford, Sr. – Matt Hanscome, Sr. – Matt Richards, Jr. – Trevor Richards, Jr. – Kobe Pillsbury, Soph. – Cameron Paige, Soph. – Nathan Richards, Fr. – Brett Kusnierz.
The Tigers will open the regular season with three road games, including the opener at Bangor Christian on December 9th. The home opener will be December 19th against Central. Eastern Maine Sports will have live audio on December 21st when Dexter plays host to PCHS.
