Tom Brady tossed four touchdown passes Sunday afternoon, to lead the New England Patriots to their seventh consecutive win, taking down their AFC East rival Miami Dolphins 35-17 at Gillette Stadium.
Brady went 18-28 for 227 yards passing, and threw a pair of touchdowns to Rob Gronkowski, and one each to Brandin Cooks and Rex Burkhead to improve the Pats record to 9-2. Burkhead also had a touchdown on the ground. New England had 420 yards of offense, including 199 rushing. Jonathan Jones had nine tackles, and Patrick Chung eight to lead the defense.
Matt Moore was 23-34, 215 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions for the 4-7 Dolphins. Miami has lost five in a row, and nine in a row in Foxborough.
New England hits the road next Sunday, traveling to Buffalo for a 1 p.m. start.
