The Thomas College Terriers women’s basketball team started the game on a 22-1 run and rolled to an 85-42 win over Johnson State on Saturday afternoon at Thomas.
Molly Carroll scored 19 points (9-9 FT) and dished out five assists to lead the Terriers. Thomas (2-5/1-2) will step out of Conference when they host UMPI on Wednesday night.
The Terriers men’s team overcame a halftime deficit and rolled to a 76-59 win over Johnson State in the finale.
Lovegeurson Fleurine gave the Terriers a 50-49 lead with 10:02 remaining. Thomas never looked back, as that started a 10-0 run, as Johnson State was outscored 27-10 in the final 10 minutes.
Zach Mackinnon scored 17 points to lead the Terriers. John Morgan (14), Carlos Gonzalez (12), and Angel Gonzalez (11) also finished in double figures. Thomas out rebounded Johnson State 50-34.
