George Stevens is once again the favorite in class C North boys basketball. The Eagles have Taylor Schildroth back to lead the way. Schildroth is a preseason favorite to be a Mr. Basketball finalist. Fort Fairfield has a strong returning group. The Tigers finished as regional runner up last season. Houlton, Central, and Mattanawcook drop down from class B and could make some noise. Bryce Gilbert from PCHS will be one of the most explosive players in the state. Bucksport will have a veteran group, while Jonathan Littlefield and Elijah Wood will be a strong duo for PVHS. Hodgdon was third in the heal points last season and should be in the mix again. Central Aroostook moved up from class D. We have listed our preseason top eight below. We also wouldn’t be surprised if the following teams ended up getting in – Dexter, Central, Central Aroostook, PVHS, Fort Kent
