New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was suspended 1 game by the NFL Monday for his late hit against Buffalo Bills defensive back Tre’Davious White on Sunday in the Patriots 23-3 win.
Gronkowski, who apologized for his actions, will now sit for the Patriots Monday night week 14 matchup at the Miami Dolphins.
The actions happened after White intercepted a Tom Brady pass intended for Gronkowski. Gronkowski, who looked to be held and pushed on the play, jumped on top of White after the play was over causing a concussion for White.
