MCI Boys Indoor Track Capsule Coach: Jason Allen (3rd Year) Last Season: 6th in KVAC B, 20th in State Class B Top Returners: Nick Clark (Jr., Distance), DJ Neal (Jr., Distance), Dan Pratts (Jr., Shot Put), Isaac Bai (Sr., Mid-Distance), Aaron Schanck (Sr., Shot Put) Key Newcomers: Tristen Wintle (Fr., Jumps), Tucker Sharples (Jr., Sprints/Jumps), Jakub Sommer (Jr., Sprints), Jedi Uribe (Jr., Sprints), Tevin Mukwende (Sr., Mid-Distance) Outlook: The numbers are down for the boys team as we were senior-laden last year. Our success will be determined by how our newcomers acclimate themselves and how our returners fair as they step-up from being role players to being relied on to score. We have some talent on our roster but, it is inexperienced and might take us some time to get to where we want to be. League Favorites: Belfast, Waterville, Lincoln Academy, Winslow, Erskine Academy
MCI Girls Indoor Track Capsule Coach: Jason Allen (3rd Year) Last Season: 7th in KVAC B, 20th in State Class B Top Returners: Victoria Friend (Jr., Sprints/Jumps), Caitlin McKenney (Jr., Mid-Distance), Allison Hughes (Sr., Sprints/Jumps/Shot Put), Laura Rios (Sr., Sprints) Key Newcomers: Ryleigh Bickford (So., Sprints/Jumps), Alex Mason (So., Mid-Distance), Alahna McCarron (So., Mid-Distance), Blake Dawes (Jr., Shot Put), Morgan Erving (Jr., Distance), Jada Jensen (Jr., Distance), Eva Bickford (Sr., Shot Put), Korolina Pokorna (Sr., Distance) Outlook: The numbers are way up for the girls team after having only 6 girls last year. The returners bring plenty of individual talent and many of the newcomers are coming off successful outdoor track seasons last spring as well as strong fall seasons in soccer and field hockey. Finding how to best utilize our talent and numbers will be the key to our season. The numbers should allow us to be more competitive across all events, while Victoria and Allison will be our top point scorers. League Favorites: Belfast, Lincoln Academy, Winslow
