Tuuka Rask made 30 saves Saturday night, and the Boston Bruins got three different goal scorers to top the New York Islanders 3-1 at TD Garden in Boston.
Brad Marchand scored a second period powerplay goal to open the scoring, and Jake Debrusk and Danton Heinen added third period markers as the Bruins won for the eighth time in 10 games. Rask extended his win streak to four games.
Anders Lee scored in the third period for the 16-10-3 Islanders. Jaroslav Halak made 30 saves in the loss.
Boston (14-9-4), will travel to Detroit to battle Jimmy Howard and the Red Wings Wednesday night at 8 p.m.
