Jake Debrusk scored a second period goal that proved to be the game winner Tuesday night, as the Boston Bruins skated to a solid 3-0 road win over the Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY.
Anton Khudobin made 36 saves and picked up the shutout for the 17-10-5 Bruins. David Backes and Tim Schaller added third period empty net goals for Boston, who sits in third place in the Atlantic Division.
Robin Lehner made 30 stops in net for 8-19-7 Buffalo.
Boston hosts Winnipeg at TD Garden Thursday night at 7 p.m.
