Entering Friday, John Bapst and MCI were the top two teams in the Maine Principals’ Association class B North girls Basketball heal point standings.
The Crusaders entered the day as the only undefeated class B girls team in the state. Ellsworth ended that when they got 20 points from Trinity Montigny and defeated John Bapst 43-34 at the Cross Insurance Center. Ellsworth (7-4) put themselves in great shape to grab s tourney spot.
MCI entered the evening with a 9-2 record and second in the heal point standings. The only two losses for the Huskies were against John Bapst. Oceanside (6-6) defeated MCI 59-47 on Friday night.
Hermon (11-1) moved to number two in the standings, after a convincing 68-35 win over MDI. Caitlynn Tracy put in 24 points for the Hawks. Click here for the full Friday night scoreboard,
