Aaron Calixte made a three pointer with 23 seconds left to the lift the University of Maine men’s basketball team to a 69-68 win over the UNH Wildcats at the Cross Insurance Center on Wednesday night.
Calixte scored a game high 24 points to lead the Black Bears, with Andrew Fleming and Vernon Lowndes JR added 15 points each. Maine (5-17/2-5) will play at UMBC on Saturday. UNH falls to 8-13 and 4-3 in conference play.
