The Penobscot Valley High School (PVHS) Howlers won the Maine Principals’ Association class D Northern Maine cheerleading regional championship on Saturday afternoon at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
It is the first regional title for the Howlers in 30 years. Central Aroostook finished as runner up. Machias. Bangor Christian, Deer Isle-Stonington, and Woodland will join the Howlers and Panthers in the state competition at the Cross Center on February 10th.
