Kenzie Worcester scored 32 points to lead the Husson Eagles women’s basketball team to an 81-77 win over Castleton in double overtime at Newman Gymnasium on Friday evening.
Worcester shot 10-14 from the field and 10-13 from the free throw line. She also had nine rebounds and three blocks. Sami Ireland added 18 points, while Emma Alley also finished in double figures with 10. Megan Peach came off the bench to record eight points, five rebounds, and four assists.
It is the first conference loss for Castleton. (14-3/10-1). Husson improves to 10-8 overall and 8-3 in North Atlantic Conference play.
