The George Stevens boys basketball team won 17 straight after a season opening loss to Lee Academy. The Eagles are the overwhelming favorite entering the class C tournament. They could have their hands full in a quarterfinal clash against the Houlton/Lee prelim Winner.
The second seeded Fort Fairfield Tigers will also have a difficult quarterfinal matchup against the PCHS/Bucksport prelim Winner. Mattnawcook and PVHS could be an interesting quarterfinal clash of the Lynx and Howlers can get by prelim fears against Sumner and Calais.
