Riley Nash and Patrice Bergeron each scored a pair of goals, including Bergeron scoring the third period game winner on the powerplay Tuesday night, as the Boston Bruins beat the Calgary Flames 5-2 at TD Garden.
Bergeron added an insurance goal, and Zdeno Chara potted an empty netter, as the Bruins improved to 35-12-8. Sam Bennett and Johnny Gaudreau scored first period goals for 29-20-8 Calgary that had given the Flames a 2-1 lead, before Nash tied it in the second and Bergeron won it in the third.
Tuuka Rask made 30 saves in the Bruins net, while David Rittich made 35 for the Flames.
Boston starts a road trip Saturday night at 10 p.m. when they travel to Vancouver to battle the Canucks.
