The Bowdoin Polar Bears jumped out to a 20-8 lead after the first quarter and rolled to a 66-48 win over Tufts in a women’s basketball regional final on Saturday night at Scranton, PA.
The win moves the Polar Bears into the NCAA division III final four. It is the second time Bowdoin has made the final four, they also did in 2004. Bowdoin (28-2) will play Wartburg in a semifinal contest with the winner going to the national championship game.
