On Sunday, Sara Packard earned two wins in the circle for the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) over Lehman at Bronx, New York.
Lehman allowed four hits and two runs in eight innings for the Owls. She struck out 18, including going over 500 in her career. She now has 505.
In game one, a seven run fourth inning sparked the Owls to a 9-1 win. Marissa Reagle got the scoring started with a solo home run in the first inning. Packard reached base three times. She struck out 10 and allowed three and one run in four innings.
In game two, the seven run inning was again a thing for the Owls. The did it in the third and fifth innings of a 16-3 win. Melanee Terry and Madison Exferd each hit a home run for Presque Isle. Delanie Strout has two hits and two RBI. Packard allowed three hits and one walk, while striking out eight, including her 500th career punch out in the third inning.
