Celtics rally past OKC on last second shot

Marcus Morris drained a three pointer with just 1.2 seconds left Tuesday night, to lead the Boston Cetics to a 100-99 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder at TD Garden.

The Celtics trailed by 7 with less than 1:30 to play, and was down 5 with just 20 seconds left. Terry Rozier made a three pointer with 14 seconds left on the clock, and then Morris provided the heroics on the Celtics last possession. Boston (48-23), were playing without Kyrie Irving, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart. Rookie Jayson Tatum led the way with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists. Morris added 21 points. Greg Monroe had 17 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Rozier filled up the stat sheet with 14 points, six rebounds, six assists, and two steals. Shane Larkin also contributed 13 points.

Russell Westbrook led the way for the 43-30 Thunder, with 27 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. Paul George had 24 points and 13 rebounds. Steven Adams added 14 points and seven rebounds, while Carmelo Anthony also chipped in 13 points and five rebounds.

Boston begins a four game west coast road trip on Friday at 10 p.m. in Portland when they face the Blazers.
