Red Sox bats come alive in fourth straight win

April 2, 2018

The Boston Red Sox had their best offensive game of the early season in a 7-3 victory over the Miami at Marlins Park on Monday night.

Hanley Ramirez, Mookie Betts, Xander Bogaerts, Rafael Devers, and Christian Vazquez had two hits each. Ramirez and Betts each hit a home run. Ramirez and Vazquez had two RBI each.

While the offense was doing their thing, Brian Johnson (1-0) turned in a quality start on the mound. Johnson allowed one run on six hits and two walks, while striking out five.

It is the fourth straight win for the Red Sox. They will finish their season opening six road trip on Tuesday night with Chris Sale pitching against the Marlins.
