Mookie Betts and Andrew Benintendi combined for five RBI to lead the Boston Red Sox to a 6-3 win over the Orioles at Fenway Park on Saturday night.
Betts crushed his league leading 15th homer in the fifth inning. Benintendi followed with his fourth homer of the season. It is the second time this season the Red Sox have hit back to back homers. Benintendi reached base three times, including two hits and three RBI. Sandy Leon scored two runs. Rafael Devers added a solo home run.
Rick Porcello (6-1) allowed three runs on six hits and three walks, while striking out nine in six innings. Joe Kelly, Matt Barnes, and Craig Kimbrel combined to retire all nine batters. Kimbrel recorded his 13th save of the season.
