Oceanside baseball comes back to get quarterfinal win over Hermon

Oceanside erupted for four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, all scoring with two outs in the inning, to give Oceanside a come from behind 6-4 win over Hermon in a class B baseball quarterfinal game.

Run scoring singles by Logan Sheridan and Jack Freeman tied the game before Ben Ripley plated two with a single to give the Mariners the lead. Titus Kaewthong belted a two run homer in the first to put Oceanside on top.

Hermon scored twice in the second on a error and Sacrifice Fly by Cody Hawes, and took the lead in the third on Kent Johnson’s RBI double, scoring on an error to make it 4-2.

Oceanside travels to Ellsworth on Saturday at 1 PM for the Northern Maine Class B Semifinals
