Legendary coach added to University of Maine women’s basketball coaching staff

University of Maine women’s basketball coach Amy Vachon announced on Friday morning that Gary Fifield will serve as a temporary assistant coach for the 2018//2019 season.

Fifield totaled 550 wins in 27 years coaching the University of Southern Maine women’s basketball squad. The Huskies qualified for NCAA tournament play 23 of Fifield’s 27 years.
