Troy Wolters is the Colorado Rockies number three catcher. On Tuesday night he was number one in the hearts of Rockies fan.
Wolters hit a two out run scoring single in the top of the 13th inning to give the Rockies a 2-1 win over the Chicago Cubs in the National League Wild Card game at Wrigley Field.. it was the Rockies third city and third different time zone they played a game in the past three days.
It was the longest game as far as innings in an elimination game in major league history. The Rockies will take on the Brewers in a National League Division Series starting Thursday.
The American League Wildcard game will take place Wednesday night at Yankee stadium when the Athletics take on the Yankees.
