The Dexter Tigers girls soccer team defeated Foxcroft Academy 3-1 on Wednesday afternoon to improve their record to 10-0 on the season.
The host Tigers took a 2-0 halftime lead behind goals from Hannah Dorman and Avery Herrick. The Ponies cut the lead in half when freshman Kamryn Commeau put one into the back of the net. Dexter responded quickly when Danielle Cummings set up Dorman’s second goal.
Addyson Herrick had five saves on 10 shots for the Tigers. Dexter will host Central in their homecoming game on Saturday morning. Emilia Grant made nine saves on 18 shots for the Ponies. Foxcroft (3-6) will host PCHS on Thursday afternoon.
