Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. This week, we had seven Rowell’s Garage female athlete of the week nominations. Lexi Ireland was named Charles Inn athlete of the week for the third time. The junior has helped the Howlers go 12-0–1 with one game left in the regular season.

Lexi Ireland- PVHS- soccer- had six goals and one assist in 11-2 win over Penquis.
