Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. Here is a full list of the 271 past athlete of the week winners.
This week, we had four Rowell’s Garage female athlete of the week nominations. Carly Warn led the Winslow girls soccee to a win jn tbe regular season finale and in the preliminary round. Warn joins Dylan Hapworth (11-23-14), Nate St. Amand (11-16-15), and Ben Smith (5-7-17) as student/athletes from Winslow high school that have been named athlete of the week.
The Charles Inn female athlete of the week
Carly Warn- Winslow- Soccer – scored two goals in 3-0 win over Maranacook. Recorded a hat trick in 5-1 class B prelim win over Foxcroft.

Ellie Pelletier- Mt. Blue- field hockey – recorded a hat trick in 4-0 class A quarterfinal win over Bangor.
Other nominations
Devan Burgess – Mt. View- field hockey- scored two goals in 2-0 class C quarterfinal win over Maranacook.
Silver Clukey- Winslow- field hockey- had one goal and one assist in 3-0 class B quarterfinal win over Lawrence. Scored two goals in 2-1 class B semifinal win over Foxcroft.
