Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. Here is a full list of the 275 past athlete of the week winners.
This week, we had two Rowell’s Garage female athlete of the week nominations. Ella Pierce helped Camden Hills win their third straight class A girls soccer state championship. Pierce joins Jordan Knowlton (2-17-13), and Connor Graffam (5-3-14) as student/athletes from Camden Hills thet have earned athlete of the week honors.!
The Charles Inn female athlete of the week
Ella Pierce- Camden Hills- soccer- put in the tying goal in 4-3 class A regional final win over Messalosnkee. Scores lone goal in 1-0 state championship win over Scarborough.

Jacalyn Pelletier– Fort Kent- soccer- scored only goal in 1-0 state championship win over Maranacook.
