The Bucksport Bucks and Foxcroft Ponies Maine Principals ‘Association class D Northern Maine football regional final has been moved to Hampden Academy. The game was originally scheduled to be played at Foxcroft Academy. The game can be seen live at whoufm.com or on the WHOU Facebook page.
Bucksport defeated Mattanawcook 77-36 in a semifinal game on Monday. Carter Tolmasoff rushed for 363 yards and five touchdowns for the Bucks who are averaging 50.7 points per game. The Ponies defeated Washington Academy 41-0 in a semifinal game on November 2nd.
Foxcroft (9-0) handed Bucksport their only loss (21-20) at Bucksport on September 21st. Ponies quarterback Matthew Spooner rushed for 147 yards and one touchdown in that week three game. The Ponies average 41.9 points per game and allow only 8.6 points per contest.
