The 2018 Class D football state championship between Wells and Foxcroft Academy has been postponed due to incoming weather.
The game is now scheduled for Saturday at 7 pm at the same venue, Alfond Stadium at the University of Maine.

This would be the second in a row in Class D for the Warriors, since their move from Class C where they also captured the gold ball in 2016. In last year’s title game, Wells blanked Foxcroft 48-0 in Portland. The Ponies are 10-0 and only allowing about 8 points a game.
