The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) announced some of their end of the season awards on Tuesday. Maine football head coach Joe Harasymiak was honored as the CAA Coach of the Year. Harasymiak, led the Bears to their best finish since 2013 at 8-3 overall and 7-1 in the conference earning them an outright season championship, a bye, and a second round home game in the NCAA FCS playoffs.
