Strengths
Team speed, shooting, and experience. We return our top 3 scorers from last year (Grant Kidon, Elijah Wood, and Reece Carter), as well as 6 of our top 7.
Biggest challenges
We need players to step up and fill the roles that last year’s Seniors Jonathan Littlefield and Brady Harding filled, as they were our leaders on defense and our top rebounders. Players will need to play 32 minutes of high-intensity defense if we want to reach our potential.
Key players/newcomers
Returners include Seniors Kidon, Wood, Bradon Blish, and Brad McKechnie, Juniors Carter and Zach Doore, Sophomores Alex Tash and Zach Mitchell. Newcomers William Brown, Lance Neal, Bryce Seeley, and Shane Borrello are all fighting for playing time.
Quote from coach Durost
“We’re excited about the upcoming season, and our potential to be competitive with Class C’s best.”
Schedule: The Howlers play at Mattanawcook in season opener on December 8th. The home opener is December 13th against Bangor Christian.
