DEXTER– The Dexter Tigers jumper out to an 11-2 lead and rolled to a 35-26 win over Madison in a boys basketball preseason game played Saturday afternoon at Guiski gymnasium.
The Tigers held a 21-8 halftime lead and out scored the Bulldogs 11-4 in the third quarter. Trevor Richards had seven of his team high nine points in the third quarter. Brett Kusnierz added seven points. Haedyn Geunther put in six points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Dexter who opens the regular season at Eastern Maine Community College against Bangor Christian on December 8th.
Dexter out-rebounded Madison 33-23. The Tigers shot 9-18 from the free throw line while the Bulldogs shot 4-10. Eric Wescott led Madison with nine points and six rebounds.
