The Boston Red Sox and Nathan Eovaldi agreed to a four year deal on Thursday morning.

Eovaldi will always be remembered for his World Series game 3 performance. It was the only game the Red Sox lost in the series, but Eovaldi’s performance in that game was a big paet of the reason the Red Sox were able to win the series in five games.

According to a source, Eovaldi’s deal is four years and $67.5 million.

Eovaldi will be part of a strong starting staff including Chris Sale, David Price, and Rick Porcello.
On December 6th, 2016 the Red Sox signed Sale and Mitch Moreland.
