The PVHS Lady Howlers travelled to Lincoln to earn their first win of the season, 53-21 over the Lady Lynx.
PVHS defense was able to hold MA to just 7 points in the first half, taking a 21-7 lead into half time. Lexi Ireland’s quick six points to start the second half allowed the Lady Howlers to withstand any MA run.
Ireland’s 27 points and nine rebounds paired with Laney Harding’s 13 points powered the Lady Howlers. Emily Tolman had 11 and Katie Tolman chipped in seven to lead Mattanawcook.
