The Schenck Wolverines jumped out to a 33-5 lead after the first quarter and cruised to a 98-63 win over Piscataquis Community HIgh School (PCHS) in a boys basketball season opener on Saturday night
The Pirates struggled from three point range, shooting 5-34. The Wolverines controlled the boards, including grabbing 28 offensive rebounds.
Eben Cooley led the way for the Pirates with 16 points, eight rebounds, seven steals, and six assists. Kobe Gilbert chipped in with 13 points and Matt Robinson added eight. Travis Thompson scored a game high 27 points for Schenck.
