The NFL regular season rolls into the final three weeks with several playoff spots still up for grabs in the AFC and NFC. The Eastern Maine Sports staff picks contest also is heating up, as defending champ Jeff Hoak lead at the number one spot has now shrunk to five games. Hoak went 8-8 in Week 14 to hold the top spot, while Anthony Delmonaco went 9-7 to pull within five. Marc Calnan went 10-6 and sits two behind Delmonaco and seven behind Hoak for the top spot. Chris Lessner also went 10-6 and now sits in fourth, four games behind Calnan. Cassidy Lessner had a tough 6-10 Week 14 and currently sits four games behind her Dad in fifth place. This weeks games feature two big AFC games with playoff implications as the Chargers travel to play the Chiefs on Thursday night, and the Patriots battle the Steelers in Pittsburgh Sunday evening.
